TV reception in Yanchep
Free-to-air TV in Yanchep comes from the Two Rocks local translator at Two Rocks, 13.9 km to the WNW (bearing 297°). It broadcasts on UHF (channels 28–51) channels 28, 29, 30, 31, 33, vertically polarised.
A standard-gain UHF antenna pointed WNW and mounted vertically (elements upright) gives reliable reception for most homes.
The regional main transmitter (Perth, 61.8 km SSE) is generally not usable here without a high-gain installation; the translator is the intended service.
