TV reception in Woodville Gardens
Free-to-air TV in Woodville Gardens comes from the Adelaide main transmitter at Crafers, 19.3 km to the SE (bearing 132°). It broadcasts on VHF Band III (channels 6–12) channels 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, horizontally polarised.
A medium-gain VHF antenna pointed SE and mounted horizontally (elements flat) gives reliable reception for most homes.
Pockets of Woodville Gardens shadowed from Adelaide can use the Adelaide Foothills translator (8.1 km SSE, UHF channels 34, 35, 36, 37, 39, H polarisation), which needs a UHF antenna pointed the other way, a common cause of "wrong antenna" reception faults after DIY installs.
