Which TV transmitter serves Merrimac?

Free-to-air TV in Merrimac comes from the Gold Coast main transmitter at Mount Tamborine, 18.2 km to the WNW (bearing 300°). It broadcasts on UHF (channels 28–51) channels 40, 41, 42, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, horizontally polarised. Pockets of Merrimac shadowed from Gold Coast can use the Currumbin translator (14.3 km SE, UHF channels 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 49, 50, V polarisation), which needs a UHF antenna pointed the other way, a common cause of "wrong antenna" reception faults after DIY installs.
