TV reception in Mount Victoria
Free-to-air TV in Mount Victoria comes from the Lithgow local translator at Lithgow, 13.8 km to the NW (bearing 316°). It broadcasts on UHF (channels 28–51) channels 28, 29, 30, 31, horizontally polarised.
A standard-gain UHF antenna pointed NW and mounted horizontally (elements flat) gives reliable reception for most homes.
The regional main transmitter (Sydney, 90.1 km ESE) is generally not usable here without a high-gain installation; the translator is the intended service.
