TV reception in Bilpin
Free-to-air TV in Bilpin comes from the Sydney North West local translator at Kurrajong Heights, 9.3 km to the SE (bearing 124°). It broadcasts on UHF (channels 28–51) channels 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, horizontally polarised.
A standard-gain UHF antenna pointed SE and mounted horizontally (elements flat) gives reliable reception for most homes.
The regional main transmitter (Sydney, 69.5 km ESE) is generally not usable here without a high-gain installation; the translator is the intended service.
